It's 7:05:21 am and I just laid a nest containing 141 eggs. I'm exhausted and want to get to the ocean quickly but I'm a big mama turtle and move rather slowly by nature.
7:07:53 am- Hmm, I'm making progress but that guy on the bicycle seems to be outpacing me!
07:53 am- That splash of cool water on my head really feels good!
7:07:54 am- Lifting my head gives me a better view and I can see that I’m making good progress…I’ll just ignore that showoff on the bicycle.

7:08:12 am- Finally, I made it. Time to relax, revive and rejuvenate before I come ashore somewhere this season to nest again. So long and thanks Seabrook Island!
